LIBRARY BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Yuma County Free Library District Board of Directors (Yuma County Board of Supervisors) is comprised of the five elected members of the Yuma County Board of Supervisors. The current elected officials are as follows:

The Yuma County Free Library District Board of Directors selects and appoints the Library Director, establishes the salaries for all Library District employees, approves all agreements and contracts, approves the annual budget, and reviews and approves all Library District policies. Since the Library District is a special taxing district, the Board of Directors has the authority to set the Library District's tax rate. You are able to access their website at www.co.yuma.az.us

Board of Trustee positions are honorary and serve without compensation. Trustees hold office for three years, commencing July 1st in the year of their appointment.

Trustees meet for business purposes on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Please call 782-1871 for the location of this month's meeting. A quorum at any meeting shall consist of five (5) Trustees. The Trustees recommend library policy to the Yuma County Free Library District Board of Directors. Their primary function is to promote the development and improvement of library services.
