Review:

Fearless Gaia Abducted is an amazing book written by Francine Pascal. Gaia is a 17 year-old who is born without the fear gene, making her fearless. However one night Gaia is abducted from her local New York park and is taken to a mental hospital in Florida. Gaia immediately tries to find a way out, and teams up with Paris, a girl who claims to have been put there by accident. At first everything is going well when Gaia makes a call to one of her friends, Jake for help, however everything changes even the way she thinks when she starts talking to Dr. K. Dr. K. claims that Gaia is not fearless and that her mother who was shot and killed by her evil uncle Loki, was in fact not dead but alive, and that her father who works for the CIA is not in fact working for the CIA but was a crazy drunk. Dr. k claims that Gaia has DID, or dissociative identity dissorder. Slowly Gaia starts to believe this and it seems that all hope is lost. However Jake gats the message and goes to her rescue with the help of Paris. However it is not that easy to bust someone out who does not want to be busted out. Gaia Abducted is full of so much action. This book will make you think to yourself 'what if everything that you knew was fake, your parents, your hometown, your identity. Would you believe it?' Once you start to read this you won't be able to put the book down. If you are looking for a good series I truly reccomend the Fearless Series!!
